Which is the best way to learn?

When you listen to suppliers of various training services, you could be forgiven for thinking that there is a 'best' way in which to learn.
It's not unusual to find one supplier heavily criticising the training tools and methods used by other companies. For instance, many classroom training companies are critical of e-learning, while e-learning companies often proclaim that classroom training is dead!
The truth is far more complex, but is actually more logical: there is a place for all learning media within a successful learning strategy.

Clearly, there is a great difference in terms of cost and effectiveness of each of these. However, no one tool is a training panacea. For example, books probably deliver more information 'per buck', but are really suited only to certain topics - for instance, it's virtually impossible to learn karate from a book!
Harlequin Training Solutions is impartial in its choice of training tools, always focusing on the most appropriate tool for a given situation and often employing a mixture to achieve the best results.

So, what are the pros and cons of each medium? Find out.

The current top choices for training are:
books
CD-ROMs
classroom
desk side
lectures
telephones
video/audio tapes
Web/intranet
